Domaine Edouard Confuron
Winemaker Profile | Burgundy, France
Édouard Confuron, son of François Confuron-Gindre, comes from a winemaking family with roots dating back to the 17th century. After working at the family estate Confuron-Gindre in Vosne-Romanée, he founded his own winery, Domaine Édouard Confuron, in 2021.
His domaine covers approximately 1.8 hectares of vineyards located in prestigious sites within the Côte de Nuits, including Gevrey-Chambertin "Les Seuvrées," Nuits-Saint-Georges "Aux Allots," and Vosne-Romanée "Les Hautes Maizières." He primarily cultivates Pinot Noir, crafting wines that reflect both the terroir and his personal touch.
