Viticulture: Certified organic and biodynamic. VCLC (Vigna Curva Lato Cantina) is a south-facing, gently sloping parcel beside the cellar, with vines around 25 years old. Hand harvested in small crates. 

Winemaking: Destemmed. Native-yeast fermentation in wooden vats. Aged for 43 months in tonneaux and 15–17 hL casks, followed by 32 months in bottle. Unfined and unfiltered.

Stella di Campalto, established in Tuscany in 1910 and revived in 1992, is a pioneer in biodynamic wine production. Its estate, Podere San Giuseppe, is known for organic practices since 1996 and biodynamic since 2005. The winery specializes in Brunello di Montalcino, characterized by elegance and aromatic delicacy, and releases wines later for optimal development​.

The Stella di Campalto winery, officially known as Podere San Giuseppe, was originally founded by Stella's grandfather. Since the 1940s, however, the property had been abandoned, consisting of 15 hectares of fallow land and buildings in need of renovation.
